I had seen the television commercials with kids claiming they were hooked on particular phonics programs. The program is quite effective and has helped thousands of children learn to read over the years. Many teachers and parents who home school their children say there is no better tool on the market today for helping the kids learn. The programs use games and activities so that learning will be fun for the student, and all this has a firm educational background. If learning is fun, it will not seem like work and the child will stick with it to achieve the desired results.
