This word is right since a seminary is where the seeds of divine up-bringing are planted. The root of this word is semen “seed”, Reformed Theology which originates from the identical early Proto-Indo-European source that give us English seed and sow.Different organized religions and cultures also have spiritual schools analogous to Western Theology seminaries. The Islamic and Jewish equivalents to a Christian theological college are called Madrasah and Yeshivah, respectively.
