A theological college college, or divinity college is a specialised and oftentimes live-in higher education institution with the intention of teaching scholars in thinking, divinity, spiritualty and the religious life, commonly in order to make them to become followers of the religious clergy. Students in a seminary specially of the Roman Catholic Church are known as Seminarists. The word “seminary college” originates from Latin seminarium “seed bed”, the neuter of seminarius “of or related to seed”, applied as a noun. This word is right since a seminary is where the seeds of divine up-bringing are planted. The root of this word is semen “seed”, Reformed Theology which originates from the identical early Proto-Indo-European source that give us English seed and sow.Different organized religions and cultures also have spiritual schools analogous to Western Theology seminaries. The Islamic and Jewish equivalents to a Christian theological college are called Madrasah and Yeshivah, respectively.
