I Firmly Believe in Dog Crate Training

We have had big collies, tiny poodles and a whole collection of dogs of average size. In every case, I have successfully trained them by following the tried and true dog crate training method. It works like a charm every time. The psychology behind it is what is important, I think. Dogs just don’t want to soil their sleeping quarters. Taking them outside to do their business soon helps them understand what works and what doesn’t work. Next week we are bringing home a greyhound puppy. I’m sure the crate method will work with him as well.
