Thyroid problems affect a significant number of the world’s population and often the conditions go undiagnosed. Such overlook is more often a result of patients not reporting symptoms than it is of doctors misdiagnosing a patient. However thanks to great treatments like Thyromine it is becoming easier to manage Thyroid problems.

Thyroid problems, especially those that do not have outward symptoms like goiters, are hard to diagnose during its early stages. Take hypothyroidism for example, at the onset of the condition the symptoms can be mild and be misinterpreted as ordinary fatigue and weight gain. Because of this, patients do not necessarily find it significant enough to report the symptoms to their health care provider.

It is only later on, when the symptoms become more pronounced, that they seek medical attention. Goiters can also seem unobtrusive at the start and patients with the condition don’t often notice symptoms until their neck becomes enlarged.
