Help With Bulging Disc In Neck

I have a bulging disc in neck towards teh top, and it is very painful. Im a going to the doctor tomorrow, I hope they have good news for me. I have asked them if it is going to be a long wait before I go back to see the doctor, but they could not tell me for sure. I was asking because it is so painful to move my head right now. Sitting in a chair with no headrest is also hard for me at this point. I am just hoping that I can get his problem resolved without any surgery.
