That could be weight that I wasn’t really after. The opposite has actually been true. Protein shakes have actually helped me to lose weight. I’m definitely a lot more tone, and had to find some new clothes that fit better. The end results have definitely proven to enhance my quality of life. I know it’s got to be the protein shakes. That’s all I’ve really changed in my diet and my routine. I’ve learned that getting the killer results I’ve been after, means that I’m going to need to give my body what it needs to grow. It finally clicked. You wouldn’t try to grow a plant without water. And yet I was trying to grow muscle definition without getting enough protein. Sure I was getting protein through my diet. It would have been plenty of protein if I weren’t trying to put on a little extra muscle. Suddenly my meals got a little easier too. I now knew where the protein for my workout was coming from. More energy in the gym, a much better looking body, and strength gains have all been things I’ve experienced since I started with protein shakes. It’s not just a bodybuilding supplement. It’s one of the most essential bodybuilding staples.
