No doubling back

January 28, 2010 on 10:47 pm | By admin | In Travel

With Rental car Auckland Airport having their office inside the terminal, our arrival and everything else was made a whole lot easier. Having not been to the city before, we really didn’t want to be taking shuttles or taxis around the place trying to find a depot. This company was great as once we got in to the arrivals hall we walked straight to the counter, picked up the keys and then walked to the car. The other very handy thing was that we were heading south, so instead of going in to the city and then doubling back passed the airport, we could just get on the southern motorway and be on our way.

Finding Tavira Property For Sale is Easy

January 26, 2010 on 9:22 am | By admin | In Travel

My husband is so smart.  When I told him it would be nice to buy property in Tavira, where we vacation, he knew just what to do.  First of all he started searching on the Internet and found a site that listed every available Tavira Property.  Next, he contacted one of the agents using the phone number on the website.  Within a few days the agent started sending us emails with details about properties that met our needs.  I have to say I was really surprised by how easy it was to find the home of our dreams at a price we could afford.

Cash Gift

January 25, 2010 on 12:49 pm | By admin | In Travel

I am one of those people who is hard to buy for at Christmas or on my birthday. That suits me just fine because I usually get cash from my parents, aunts and uncles and other family members. I use this holiday money to get exactly what I do want or need at school. The University of North Carolina is not a cheap school to go to. One textbook often costs over $100, and when you are taking 6 classes that can really add up. I will continue to ask for cash – or at least hint at it – whenever a gift giving occasion arises. Hopefully the next time will be my college graduation.

Safety in Mooloolaba

January 20, 2010 on 4:50 pm | By admin | In Travel

Nothing would surprise me these days in terms of weather forecasts. I hear that there is a big discussion going on about global warming and then we are hit with a terrible cold front. The environment is very fragile it seems rights now including the ground you are standing on. I had been looking into mooloolaba apartments for a variety of reasons and now I find myself asking random questions like what is the likelihood of a storm or earthquake hitting in this area in the next couple of years. Sure, I wanted a vacation home but I would like it for many years into the future.

Adventure Family Vacation – Lonely Planet style

January 20, 2010 on 7:38 am | By admin | In Travel

Have you heard of the TV program Lonely Planet? In the program the host travels from one place to the other without any plans at all. An adventure family vacation, lonely planet style could be just as fun. You and your family can fill your backpacks with clothes and chose a vacation destination at random. If you have a vehicle, you can simply just travel from your home to that destination. If you want to really be ethnic, take the bus or the local mode of transportation in that area. Then instead of the plush hotels, try checking into the local lodgings offered in that area. The point is to be able to try and assimilate the local lifestyle of the area you are visiting.

The information I had coming

January 17, 2010 on 4:04 am | By admin | In Travel

The other day I went to the mailboxes etc. office/outlet near my house to open up a mailbox. Three days before someone had taken the mail out of my mailbox and now I was a little worried about the security of my mail. I live in a fairly good neighborhood; however stuff like this does happen occasionally. That’s okay because I can use the postal box for a business address as well. I was getting some information on the Northern Territory in Australia. and because my mailbox situation I felt that I might need to reorder it all over again. I guess I just didn’t want to wait.

Trains to Cambridge

January 16, 2010 on 7:07 am | By admin | In Travel

Luton is an hour and a quarter of Cambridge Road; here, there is Trains to Cambridge service leaving the airport, but yes the aforementioned two lines of bus while passing through Luton less often than other airports. Heathrow and Gatwick are further away from Cambridge: two hours and three hours by bus respectively. To get it you must exit the arrivals terminal (there are over one in each airport) and for the terminal or bus stop is immediate. In addition, Heathrow is connected to central London by tube (approximately 45 minutes), this Metro on the Piccadilly Line stops at the station King’s Cross, and from there you can take a train to Cambridge (frequent services, duration of journey about 50 minutes, although it should avoid trains, which take longer).

Surfing Trips With Friends

January 11, 2010 on 1:50 pm | By admin | In Travel

I am not really the kind of person who would always be facing the computer and working all the time in the three hundred and sixty-five days of a year. I believe that we have to allocate a week or two, or maybe a month for vacations and trips. Whenever I get the chance, I resort to only one thing and that is, going on surfing trips. I just knew that this is going to be the most amazing and perfect thing ever. I knew that I needed some time to work and all that but having fun is just as needed. I really believe that the surfing trips would be really wonderful. I can really say that the surfing trips are just so amazing and perfect.
