Irish personalised number plates

Normal registration numbers have a year identifier in them that lets everyone know how old the car is that you are driving and many, not wishing to be seen in a car which is getting on a bit, even if it is in immaculate condition. They are cheap to buy as the government their just issues vehicle owners with a replacement free of charge when they have sold the one on the car or bike.The only real drawback is that they all contain the letter Z or the letter I.
