My Professor Is an Expert on Ancient Chinese Calligraphy

I think that she is Chinese, and I know that she is an expert in ancient Chinese calligraphy. It’s almost a lost art form today, but she has learned so many of the marks for that very complicated language. When I asked her if she could give any of us students who were interested, lessons, she just laughed and said that we wouldn’t stay interested very long. Instead she encouraged us to study the Chinese people more, including their culture and faith. “If you really want to know the Chinese culture, you need to focus on the people that make up the culture rather than ancient writing techniques,” she said.
