Where did the Easter Bunny Come From?

September 29, 2009 on 2:32 am | By admin | In Health

We’ve all bit into a rabbit shaped confection around Easter, but where do these delectable little fluff balls come from anyways? The history of chocolate Easter bunnies goes way back to pagan cultures. Instead of religious holidays, they celebrated the change of the seasons. Spring, of course, is the season of new life and rebirth. Because rabbits are extremely hearty reproducers, it’s no surprise that they are used as a symbol of fertility in pagan culture. As Christianity and paganism collided, the traditions became quite a hodge-podge. While we now celebrate Christ’s rebirth, some of the old pagan symbols remain, including the Easter bunny.

Sites About Dog Food Reviews

September 28, 2009 on 4:22 am | By admin | In Miscellaneous

I’ve found a lot of good information on this site. I have also tried to create a website that provides the same good information for dog owners looking to address their dog’s food allergies.  Lots of brands and dog food reviews of what is in them as well as other tips.  Also, I would like to purchase your mini Daschund dried food online directly from you since I cannot get it anymore from Petsmart or PetCo. I want the larger bag. Please contact me with instructions how I can do that and have you ship it directly to me.  Thanks very much!

Enjoy the Benefits of Travel Reward Credit Cards

September 28, 2009 on 2:23 am | By admin | In Travel

I have never been one to use credit cards, until recently.  I have always paid for everything with cash.  I was raised by parents who believed that if you didn’t have the money for something, you just didn’t need it.  This attitude has served me well and kept me from accumulating too much debt.  However,  when I learned about the benefits of travel reward credit cards, I started using them myself.  I am able to use the card to pay for just about anything and am rewarded with travel points.  These points can be used to get discounted hotel rates, airfare, and more.

I’ve was looking for a healthy diet to try because I really need to lose weight and get in better shape. There were so many plans out there to choose from but I couldn’t figure out what was right for me. I recently read a Great Taste No Pain review but I wasn’t sure if the plan was really worth it. I had the pleasure of actually speaking to a young lady who was on the plan. She never went on the plan to lose weight but for health reasons. Her skin was glowing and she looked great. After speaking with her I was convinced it might be the right plan for me.

Inkless Fingerprinting Saves A Lot of Mess for Law Enforcement Personnel

September 28, 2009 on 12:25 am | By admin | In Technology

Back before this new process became available the process of fingerprinting by law enforcement personnel was very messy. Ink had to be spread out with a roller and it was difficult to do this without making a mess. Once someone was fingerprinted they had a mess on their hands. Now with inkless fingerprinting the process is so much easier. If a situation ever called for fingerprints to be obtained elsewhere, it would be easy to do with a little container in the pocket. Law enforcement agents are now asking banks to use this inkless system on checks. It can be a way of proving fraud as well as a deterrent for any criminal waiting in line to cash a check.

Scripts for Websites Should Be Easy to Use

September 27, 2009 on 11:55 am | By admin | In Business

Have you ever done a search for a script for use on your website? … you found one that looks like it would suit your needs perfectly … then you downloaded the script, only to find that you have no idea what to do with it? That is an all too common problem. Programmers may be really good at writing a script, but often they are not very adept at writing English. Sometimes it is not their native language, and sometimes they got into writing programs because they hated writing words. Whatever the cause, you don’t know what to do with their script, so you have to search for one you can understand. Next time, don’t waste time searching for “scripts websites“. Find a website that has already done that for you, and has scripts that are easy to understand.
